Be Well Be Kind - Part 1

 Its been half a year since i've been working with a company in Singapore. 🇸🇬
So how is it?

Assalamualaikum guys. How you guys doing? i hope you guys are doing well. Man i just purchased a Dyson Vacuum for my mom for her birthday and anniversary. Its been freaking 25 years since they were both married. Abah and Mak. What a milestone, and an inspiration to US including me, my brother and sister and most probably my aunts and uncles too. Let's be real bro, how much is the probability of me being born in this world to a guy, that is from Johore married a Sarawakian? Plus my dad is not a city guy some more. Wonder what is the probablity they both made. Probably ONE in a BILLION. But Alhamdullilah, here i am bro. A human to Nelly and Sairy, and not some random frogs in the wild or cats in the streets.

But lets put that aside...what is my achievement? Oh, the title. Yeah, i am officially and EP pass holder in Singapore. Man, sometimes thats um a bit to fathom. I basically can apply for a PR if i stay in this position for like 5-10 more years? lol. But yeah, this is a small steps for me before continuing my studies. Hopefully in Canada. I still have faith of studying there especially in Vancouver. 

Work has been pretty cool. Im mostly working from home, come to the office once in a while. But i know sooner or later, im gonna be commuting everyday. Ah man i really hope we just stay like this for longer. I hope i can nego with my CEO regarding this because im sure my creativity juice is going to drain away if i commute everyday. Nonetheless, i feel a bit excited too. Alah bisa tegal biasa.

and also i feel my skill of organizing is getting better. My editing skills is improving as well. I can feel it.

Im targeting of doing 30 videos during ramadan. Probably tutorials and me talking about film schools. But yeah, it is what it is. I hope after i re-opened this blog, i achieve it while having a sip of milo at my village Oya.

Kinabalu, Let's GO! -Firdaus, 2022

 Hi, Assalamualaikum and what is going on guys!.

If you pass by my blog, or taking a glimpse on it, thank you!

For now, i don't have much to say buy 2 days left till' i leave my home and making an attempt to conquer the mount kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia.

Pretty crazy to say. A year ago, i was doomed by my FYP batch mates. Still remember the "Ure a fuc**ing idiot" word slapped by my own friend.

Honestly, that was the bottom point of my sanity. Pretty effin' crazy. Its.been.a.year.

Anyway, i'll be starting the trip alone. all the way to KK, Alone.

Thank you, mak, abah, aidil, ain for giving faith for me to try to hike this mountain.

Im probably not at my peak fitness level but you know, ill try.

and i hope this CINE LENS by 7artisans im going to review will be worth it. Carrying it to the top, damn.

A Journey of a Lonely Storyteller.

Hello. Its me Firdaus. Probably the last time i update this Blog was 9 Years ago. A lot has changed. Currently im a student in a Film School, and i got to admit, it is exhausting and mentally draining me in. Im in my final year and is going to Internship next semester. Pretty crazy isn't it? after that im going to the real life. God damn, if it was mentally and physically challenging at this point, imagine how it is going to be later? I don't have a lot of friends, and to be frank honest, there was never a person from my university did a fun-passion video with me. It all a journey with my old fellow friends. Such as Amri, Aisyah. Oh wait, seriously...there is this only this two. Hm, me and Amri did a video about Sofyank Contest(spoiler alert; we got scammed) and Earth video with Aisyah Maisarah. Other than that? Yoooow, there is only these two man, whhaa-t-he--. Anyway, tomorrow is Portfolio Preparation Subject, and i have a few research to be done within 10 days before mak going back to Singapore. Cinematic Application and Media Law, im gonna finish you, even it took every single bit of energy in me.

Oh, perhaps you were asking, why "lonely storyteller?"

Storyteller, the word people use to describe amateur-Filmmaker. This is what we learn, this is what we infused, this is what we dream..Every sentences is begin with "Storyteller", that is the word you going to listen everytime your lecturer is front of you.

Btw, my english is pretty weak, so im gonna switch language, to Malay, and to my native sarawak language.

Gotta sleep, a lot to write. This was written with my Alexa asked to countdown within 10 minutes.
